From Start to Finish: Building Your Dream Pool with Ruiz’s Pools in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Gilbert, AZ
When it comes to creating your perfect backyard retreat, Ruiz’s Pools does more than just pool plastering. We’re your full-service pool builders in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Gilbert, and surrounding Arizona areas, specializing in complete custom pool builds from start to finish. From design to construction and final finishing, we bring your dream pool to life with expert craftsmanship and attention to detail.
1. Custom Pool Design & Planning
Every dream pool begins with a vision. At Ruiz’s Pools, we start with a personalized design consultation where our experts work closely with you to understand your style, space, and budget.
We use advanced 3D design technology so you can preview your pool layout, water features, and finishes before construction even starts. Whether you’re envisioning a modern luxury pool in Scottsdale, a family-friendly backyard pool in Gilbert, or a resort-style oasis in Phoenix, we’ll help make it a reality.
2. Excavation & Structural Framing
Once the design is finalized and permits are approved, our team prepares your site with precise excavation and grading to ensure a perfect foundation. We then reinforce your pool with steel rebar framing for long-term durability—because in Arizona’s extreme climate, quality structure matters.
3. Plumbing & Electrical Systems
Behind every beautiful pool is a reliable system. We install high-performance plumbing and energy-efficient electrical components to keep your pool running smoothly year-round. From pumps and filters to LED lighting and water features, everything is engineered for performance and longevity.
4. Shotcrete & Pool Shell
The backbone of every pool is its concrete shell. Ruiz’s Pools applies high-strength shotcrete to form a durable structure that’s built to last. This phase gives your pool its shape and strength before moving on to the finishing details.
5. Tile, Coping & Decking
This is where design meets function. We offer a variety of tile and coping options, including natural stone, porcelain, and glass finishes. Our team also installs custom decking surfaces, from pavers and travertine to stamped or cool deck concrete—perfect for handling Arizona’s hot summers.
6. Pool Plastering & Finishing Touches
As experts in pool resurfacing and plastering across Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Gilbert, Ruiz’s Pools ensures a flawless finish for every new build. We offer premium interior finishes like PebbleTec, mini pebble, quartz, or polished aggregate that enhance your pool’s appearance and extend its life.
To complete your build, we can add custom water features, LED lighting, spas, or Baja shelves, giving your backyard a personal touch that stands out.
7. Startup, Testing & Final Walkthrough
Before your pool is ready for swimming, our technicians perform a complete system inspection and chemical water balance to ensure everything is running perfectly. We walk you through pool maintenance basics and make sure you’re confident in caring for your new pool.
